Dr. Martina Lupberger has been appointed Senior Vice President Roof Systems as of September 25, 2013. She reports to COO Robert Blumberg and joins the Executive Team of Valmet Automotive. She is also Managing Director of Valmet Automotive GmbH.
Dr. Lupberger will be responsible for the Roof Systems business line as well as the operations in Germany and Poland. She will also be responsible for roof engineering.
Dr. Lupberger has an engineering degree in chemical engineering. She has senior management experience of over 25 years in international management, business development, quality management and purchasing for automotive and general industry. Previously she held various management positions at Draka Holding B.V., Netherlands, including the managing director’s position for Draka Automotive GmbH, Wuppertal. Before Draka she worked for 15 years with Freudenberg GmbH.
