Valmet  Automotive is an experienced service provider for the automotive industry. We offer lean and flexible solutions from product and process engineering to manufacturing as complete programs or selected services. We are one of the most experienced convertible producers in Europe. Today we produce Porsche Boxster and Cayman for Porsche AG.
Valmet Automotive and an American premium car company Fisker Automotive Inc. have signed a cooperation agreement to manufacture Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid vehicles in Finland, starting at the end of 2009. In January 2009, Garia A/S from Denmark and Valmet Automotive established partnership to engineer and manufacture the electric Garia luxury golf car. The production starts at the end of summer 2009.
