Erik Torseke to lead business development services

Mr. Erik Torseke has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Business Development effective March 1, 2010. He will be responsible for developing Valmet Automotive's business services to automotive customers and will report  to President Ilpo Korhonen. Sales and marketing organization will be part of business development organization as of first of March. Senior Vice President Hannu Berger will retire later this spring.

Erik Torseke, a Swedish national, has been responsible for the business development of Metso's Flow Control unit since 2007. Prior to Metso he worked 20 years in the USA and Canada holding several sales, marketing and general management positions in important international consortiums.
