Valmet  Automotive is an experienced service provider for the automotive industry. We offer lean and flexible solutions from product and process engineering to manufacturing as complete programs or selected services. We are one of the most experienced convertible producers in Europe. Today we produce Porsche Boxster and Cayman for Porsche AG.
Valmet Automotive is engineering and manufacturing partner of an American premium car company Fisker Automotive Inc. The series production of Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid vehicles will start in in 2010. In January 2009, Garia A/S from Denmark and Valmet Automotive established partnership to engineer and manufacture the electric Garia luxury golf car. The series production started in December 2009.  In August 2009, Think and Valmet Automotive made an agreement to start the production of Think City electric car in Finland. The first cars were produced in December.
